A special weekend event of DEAF BIPOC SOLO SHOWS features three talented Deaf BIPOC performing artists: Natasha "Courage" Bacchus, Mervin Primeaux-O'Bryant, and Stella Antonio, sharing their life journey as Deaf BIPOC individuals through ASL storytelling, monologues, dance, music, songs, and poetry. The show is associated with the celebration of Deaf Awareness Month in September. All shows are in American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken English.

The Youngers, an African-American family living in poverty in South Chicago, receive a $10,000 life insurance payout following the father’s death. Now, the family has to figure out what to do with the check. Tensions escalate among the family members trying to realize their American dreams. ​
